UPU SMURD

Since 2012, ED-SMURD from our hospital, operates from a new location at the ground floor of the Emergency Clinical County Hospital of Targu Mures, being the most modern Emergency Department from the country, endowed with last generation medical devices and equipment, which are contributing to a high quality emergency medical service.
Also need to be mentioned that, by inclusion of SMURD specific activities in the current structure and activity of ED, they gained a specific characteristic and higher competence, contributing to the complexity of the emergency medical act.

Another aspect which needs mentioning is that between Emergency Clinical County Hospital of Targu Mures and the Inspectorate of Emergency Situations “HOREA” of Mureș county exists a permanent collaboration in conducting on site emergency medical care, patient transportation, the collaboration being based on protocols and collaboration agreements.

Starting with 16.12.2015 the National Center for Emergency Assistance Training in Coordination of Multiple Victims Accidents was included in ED-SMURD, and was sited in the building where ED- SMURD previously functioned.
